We have received the first economic proposal from the company, and it’s pretty ugly, full of increased employee costs and reduction of benefits, with few true increases.

 

In the interest of openness, we are posting the three documents in PDF format for you to see (warning – large files). We have ADDED icons to show everyone the increases and takeaways.

 

Your negotiating committee had previously notified the company of our intent to share the company’s first economic proposal with our membership. One would have to wonder what this proposal would look like if they didn’t know we were going to share it with our members. It’s likely we would have only need two of the four icons!

 

Please be clear, the documents are EXACTLY what the company gave us with their proposal, the ONLY additions are the icons, in the interest of clarity, except for the company typo of the date of the expiration on the front pages, was 21 April, should be 22.
